Do drum drip trays actually need to be sized per drum or is one big tray fine

I’ve got a fairly practical question that I’m hoping someone with hands on warehouse experience can answer because I keep going back and forth on it, we store a handful of drums containing various lubricants and cleaning fluids at our facility, nothing huge scale, maybe six to eight drums at any given time, and right now we don’t have any proper drip trays under them at all which honestly in hindsight is a bit concerning given how long we’ve been operating without one, a safety consultant mentioned we should get this sorted soon, but when I started looking into options I got a bit confused about whether it’s better to get individual smaller trays under each drum separately or one larger tray that all the drums sit on together as a group, does one approach actually work better in practice, like does grouping drums onto a single large tray create any issues with accessibility when you need to move or inspect individual drums, or is that mainly a non issue as long as the tray is sized appropriately for the group, while comparing options I found some listings for drum drip trays supplied across the UAE at affordable rates which helped me understand the general size ranges available, but the descriptions didn’t really address the individual versus grouped tray question specifically, does capacity rating change significantly depending on which approach you go with, meaning does a single large tray need to account for the combined worst case leak scenario of all drums at once, or is that overly cautious thinking on my part since realistically only one drum would likely leak at any given time, also is there a practical downside to individual trays beyond just taking up more floor space, like does having multiple separate trays make general housekeeping and cleaning more of a hassle compared to one consolidated tray, I don’t want to make the wrong call here especially since this is meant to actually prevent contamination if something does leak, so if anyone’s dealt with this exact setup decision before and can share which approach actually worked better for their space, I’d really appreciate hearing your experience before we finalize what we’re ordering.
